A live pairing session with a real engineer, working through a problem together rather than answering pre-set questions alone.

Reference check
Direct outreach to past managers or clients to confirm the work history and standard of delivery.

Trial period
A defined trial period on the actual engagement before the placement is confirmed as ongoing.

The pipeline is the same regardless of role — mobile, backend, QA, or DevOps. What changes is the technical test content, not the stages themselves.
